The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has claimed that he possesses a list of nine governors who may eventually disappoint President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but said he has been instructed by God not to disclose their identities.
The cleric made the statement in a video shared on his official Facebook page, where he spoke about Nigeria’s political future, governance challenges, and the shifting alliances within the current administration ahead of future elections.
According to Ayodele, the political environment surrounding the presidency is not static, warning that loyalty among some political office holders may change as new interests and alignments emerge over time.
He suggested that certain governors who currently appear supportive of President Tinubu may eventually take different political positions depending on unfolding political developments in their respective states and regions.
Ayodele also emphasized that political relationships in Nigeria are often influenced by evolving power dynamics, personal ambitions, and electoral calculations, particularly as the country moves closer to another election cycle.
Speaking in the video, Ayodele stated, “I’ve a list of nine governors that’ll disappoint him, but God said, ‘Do not reveal it.’”
He further explained that while he is aware of the identities of the governors in question, he was instructed not to make the details public at this time.
The cleric maintained that his message was not intended to create panic or political tension, but rather to warn political leaders to remain vigilant and prayerful in their engagements.
According to him, leadership in Nigeria requires continuous awareness of shifting alliances and the unpredictable nature of political loyalty.
Ayodele added that the President should be prepared for changes within his political support base as governance challenges and political ambitions continue to reshape relationships within the ruling structure.
He also suggested that the coming months could witness significant realignments across different political parties and state governments as preparations for future elections intensify.
