The former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the judgement of the court ordering the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC not to deregister ADC.
This was contained in a post that Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to Atiku Abubakar shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
This is coming after the Federal High Court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to remove the African Democratic Congress and some other political parties from its portal.
In the post that surfaced online, Paul Ibe welcomed the judgement of the Court of Appeal. He said the judgement has proven that the judiciary remains the last hope of the common man.
Here is what Paul Ibe wrote on his official X handle;
“We, once again, express our profound appreciation to the distinguished Justices of the Court of Appeal for their courageous, impartial and constitutionally grounded judgment.
“Their decision has strengthened public confidence in the administration of justice”.
