A female pastor has sparked conversations online after advising married men to name their wives, rather than their brothers or fathers, as their official next of kin. Speaking during a church sermon, the pastor argued that a man’s primary responsibility is to his wife and children.

She maintained that they should be recognised as his closest family members in both legal and personal matters.
