According to a report by Al Jazeera, on Friday June 12, 2026, Hezbollah has been dealt a severe blow after Israel’s military confirmed it struck 310 positions across southern Lebanon and killed around 80 militants within a week, as Israeli forces simultaneously escalated operations across Gaza and the West Bank.
The Israeli army’s announcement laid bare the breadth of an offensive that compressed an enormous volume of military activity into just seven days.
The 310 Hezbollah sites targeted spanned southern Lebanon, an area long regarded as a stronghold for the militant organization.
Israeli officials framed the campaign as a targeted effort to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure and neutralize its fighting force.
At the same time, Israeli military operations showed no signs of slowing on the Palestinian front.
In Gaza, the army reported that more than 20 Palestinian fighters were killed during clashes inside the besieged territory.
Across the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces rounded up 50 individuals in what the military termed counter-terrorism arrests, adding another dimension to what has become a multi-front security campaign.
The developments have reignited fierce debate over the status of ceasefire agreements that Israel entered into in both Lebanon and Gaza.
Those accords, which were expected to pause hostilities, appear to have had little practical effect on Israeli military conduct.
Airstrikes have continued, ground forces remain active, and territorial occupation has persisted, prompting accusations that the agreements exist in name only.
For Hezbollah, Gaza, and the West Bank, the ground reality remains one of sustained and intensifying pressure from Israeli forces, ceasefires notwithstanding.
