According to a video posted on TVC News on Thursday July 23, 2026, security analyst Tony Ofoyetan called on Nigeria’s Department of State Services to adopt the use of implanted tracking chips on captured top-level terrorist leaders.
Ofoyetan made the recommendation while outlining what he described as necessary next steps for Nigeria’s security agencies following international commendation of the country’s counterterrorism progress.
