Speaking at the gathering, Gyang thanked God and members of the campaign organization for what he described as an unprecedented display of loyalty, sacrifice, and commitment throughout the campaign.
The former lawmaker maintained that the APC senatorial primary in Plateau North did not hold as expected, alleging that party members across the district were denied the opportunity to freely elect their preferred candidate.
He disclosed that a formal complaint has already been submitted to the National Assembly Primary Election Appeal Committee and expressed confidence that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC would ensure justice and uphold democratic principles.
Gyang urged his supporters to remain hopeful and united, stressing that the struggle was not merely about winning a seat but about promoting competence, fairness, and quality representation for the people of Plateau North.
He concluded by thanking his supporters for what he described as one of the most robust political campaigns in the district’s history.
