
Social media users have reacted to a campaign rally organised by Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, after a large crowd of supporters gathered to show their backing for the governor ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.
Adeleke shared photos and details of the rally on his official X account on July 27, 2026, as political activities continue to intensify ahead of the Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
In his message, the governor expressed appreciation to the residents and supporters who came out in large numbers to support his political campaign. He also urged voters to remain committed to the democratic process and assured them that their votes would be protected and counted during the election.
Adeleke further called on eligible voters across the state to reject vote buying and remain alert throughout the electoral process. He also advised the people not to allow themselves to be intimidated by threats or other forms of pressure.
The governor stated in his post:
“I urged every eligible voter across the state to come out peacefully, reject vote buying, protect their vote and remain vigilant throughout the electoral process. I also encouraged our people not to be intimidated by threats.”
