HAPPENING NOW: UK, Germany Team Up on Secret Long-Range Missile that is capable of Striking Deep Inside Russia

According to a report by Kyiv Post on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Britain and Germany are quietly developing a new long-range missile capable of striking targets up to 2,000 kilometers (1,243 miles) away inside Russia as part of a major expansion of European defense cooperation.

According to reports by German newspaper Welt and Britain’s The Telegraph, the classified project known as Deep Precision Strike (DPS) forms part of an ambitious Anglo-German defence partnership aimed at strengthening NATO’s ability to conduct long-range precision strikes. The missile is expected to have a range of up to 2,000 kilometres (1,243 miles) and could enter operational service by 2034.
