BREAKING: Tinubu Meets Folarin as APC Intensifies Reconciliation Ahead of 2027 Oyo Governorship Election

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday met with former Senate Leader and former Oyo State governorship candidate, Teslim Folarin, as the All Progressives Congress continues efforts to unite party members ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.

According to a source familiar with the meeting, the discussion took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja and focused on strengthening support for the APC governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli. The source said the meeting forms part of the party’s ongoing reconciliation efforts aimed at resolving internal disagreements and presenting a united front before the election.

Folarin represented Oyo Central Senatorial District in the Senate and was the APC governorship candidate in the 2023 election. He lost the contest to Governor Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party.Watch Video/Continue Reading
