
According to a report by the TVC News on Friday May 29,2026,the Disciplinary Committee from the factional Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has placed a suspension on former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Olabode George, along with 23 other members due to alleged anti-party behaviors.
This announcement was made through a statement by the committee’s chairman, Elder Kayode Ogunbiyi, and secretary, Barrister Desmond Agbo.
The committee indicated that the suspension was warranted after what they referred to as continued actions that could foster discord within the party.
A resolution on this matter was made during a meeting held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, where complaints regarding several party officials and members were examined, particularly those relating to anti-party activities and breaches of the PDP constitution.
Additionally, the committee reviewed prior disciplinary measures that had been implemented against Chief Olabode George by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), reaffirming that he “remains suspended as previously indicated.”

Other affected individuals include Mr. Dare,Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla,Mrs. Coker, Hon. Setonji Koshoedo,Hon. Aminu Suleiman,Hon. Bode Ogundipe,Mr. Adeyemi Moyegun,Dr. (Mrs.) Roli George, Dr. Adetokunbo Pearse, Chief Taiwo Kuye, Alhaji Muritala Ashorobi, Dr. Amos Alabi Fawole, and Hon. Olumuyiwa Owodara Richard.
The disciplinary committee emphasized that all individuals who have been suspended are prohibited from engaging in any PDP-related activities in Lagos State and may not represent the party in any official role.

“Our committee has suggested that stringent legal actions should be initiated against any of the suspended members who persist in actions contrary to the interests of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State,” the statement concluded.
