One of the chieftains of the Social Democratic Party, SDP and former presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo has stated that those accusing the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan of being partisan will have to prove it.
This statement was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official X handle of CHANNELS TV on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
Adewole stated that he has come across several parody accounts that were opened in his name.
Here is what Adewole Adebayo said;
“Even if you go online now, you will see some parody accounts in my name. You will see my picture and people posting things on my behalf that I don’t know anything about.
“You mentioned one evidence that they saw an email address that he used on his CV. That evidence is in his favor”.
