Sunday Dare, the senior special adviser on media and public communications to President Tinubu has taken to his official X handle to react to reports that the federal government was seeking to construct a multi-billion dollar rail project.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X account on Saturday June 20th, 2026 he pointed out that president Tinubu was working.
The report, which was shared by ‘The Compass Hub’, described the rail project as the most ambitious infrastructure initiative in decades.
The project, also according to the reports will be a high-speed rail network and will be worth a staggering $60 billion which will span over 4,000km. Major economic cities, including Kano, Lagos, Calabar and Port Harcourt will be connected.
Sunday Dare, in his remarks, pointed out that the project if completed, will be credited to President Tinubu’s visionary leadership.
“This is President Tinubu at work. A President with a vision for the future. Almost 10 government agencies and departments are involved under the direct supervision of President Tinubu……” He wrote.
