The Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, paid a condolence visit to the first wife and family of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar at their residence in Katsina State following his recent passing.
According to a report shared by Leadership Newspapers on its official Instagram page, on Saturday, 20th June, 2026, the minister visited the bereaved family to express her heartfelt condolences and offer support during their time of grief. Musawa prayed for the peaceful repose of the late general’s soul and asked God to grant the family strength, comfort, and patience as they mourn their loss.
The late Major General Rabe Abubakar was widely respected for his distinguished service to Nigeria and his significant contributions to national security throughout his military career. Since news of his passing emerged, tributes have continued to pour in from political leaders, military personnel, and prominent Nigerians, many of whom have described his death as a great loss to the nation.
