Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken her silence in a heated and emotional outburst on Instagram, where she addressed her estranged husband Ned Nwoko and revealed shocking details about their failed marriage.
In her lengthy post, Regina accused Nwoko of manipulating public perception and spreading damaging lies about her character. The actress claimed that the narrative about her allegedly using drugs was fabricated by her ex-husband to destroy her image. “Yes everyone! It is now in history that ‘Regina Daniels’ did drugs because that was what her husband wanted people to believe,” she wrote.
Expressing deep pain and disappointment, the mother of two recounted how she had completely trusted her ex-husband, sharing every part of herself with him, including her private life. “I trusted you with all of me, even with my tape which I pray never sees the light,” she revealed, hinting at a fear that intimate material could be used against her.
Regina also reflected on her early marriage, highlighting how young and vulnerable she was at the time. “When I married you at 17, was I on drugs? I thank God for time,” she stated, suggesting that she was manipulated during her teenage years and is now seeing the truth more clearly as an adult.
In a powerful show of defiance, Regina declared that she is ready to take her fight to court, accusing Nwoko of being “a narcissistic, manipulative man.” “Now that I have let the one thing you have on me out, what else? It’s time to fight with all of me in court! I’m not backing down now,” she wrote, signaling the beginning of a legal battle.
Despite admitting that her reputation has suffered and that she feels “ruined,” Regina’s message ended with strength and faith. “Y’all can laugh, but the laughter won’t be for long as long as I serve my God,” she concluded.
